Sharon's Art Gallery
Dr. Seaton became passionate about art on a personal level ten years ago when she spotted an ad in the local newspaper advertising art classes with
Cynthia Fritz of Forney. Although Sharon had studied oil and watercolor painting for a limited time years before, she discontinued her involvement with painting for a number of years. Her interest was revived as she began classes with Cynthia Fritz.
She also studied for several years with
Naomi Brotherton. Sharon has worked in watercolor and currently is painting in oils as her preferred medium. She particularly enjoys painting pet portraits. Sharon has most recently studied the art of animal painting with
Marie Gray.
Dr. Seaton is a member of the Rockwall Art League and has displayed her work at their art shows. She has also shown her work at the Forney Arts Council's Crumbzz Gallery of Arts.
Pet Portraits

Sharon's Pet Portraits
Sharon Seaton is taking orders for holiday commissions of portraits of pets. A portrait of a beloved pet makes a wonderful gift! She will paint an original portrait on canvas, typically 11" x 14." Other sizes are options, of course, and are priced accordingly.
You provide one or more reference photos of the animal, or she can come to your location to take photos if in the Dallas/Forney area.
Prices for commissions are based on the artwork itself. Frames are not included. Most people prefer to choose their frames to coordinate with their decor.
